In 1996 The Flanders was purchased and a $12M renovation was completed and the 232 hotel rooms were converted to 95 Condos.   In 2000 the 5 Penthouse condos were added.    The Flanders is still to this day is operated as a hotel with weddings and events held in their ballroom and garden room.
